The 30-year-old has scored 306 runs and snared 28 wickets in the ongoing five-Test series against England which India have already sealed 3-0.

Botham was the last one to do it back in 1981.
Ashwin has had a sensational year aggregating 612 runs in Tests besides snaring 72 wickets. He has won man-of-the-series awards in four successive series - against Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies and New Zealand. He had got two hundreds on the tour of West Indies and hammered four half-centuries in the ongoing series against England.
Ashwin is currently the number one bowler and the number one all-rounder in Test cricket.
